It’s that time of year again and we are back on the road recording crop trials all over the UK. To do this we use drones, timelapse, lapsed time, video and still photography to record what is going on and help our clients utilise the information by creating virtual trial tours and by using colour indexing to highlight results.

The web app that we are creating for Bord Bia is nearing completion. The app has involved a merging of technologies in 3D modelling and 2D photography to create an engaging web app that will assist in the Worldwide marketing efforts or Irish processors.

We have just translated the IDEXX videos on the testing of water for Giardia and Crypotosporidium into Portuguese, onto Spanish next.

We have translated the IDEXX training videos into French and they are just about to be launched.

At Breeze and Freeze we have been flying UAVs for many years and we have just invested in yet another. Look out for some of the footage we gather over the next few months. It is a great step forward from the radio controlled helicopter we started using some 15 years ago.

The series of training videos produced for IDEXX about the testing of water for cryptosporidium and giardia have been launched and we are about to do a French version followed by Spanish and Portuguese.

Paul and I spent 2 days in mid November at the IDEXX HQ in Newmarket to film the process of Cryptosporidium and Giardia testing of water. It was a fascinating shoot and I take my hat off to the scientist who conduct this vital work to check our water is as clean as possible.

It is nice to use the cameras and sound kit for other purposes. Like these shots I got using one of my long lenses and a parabolic reflector top capture the roar of the stags.

We had an exceptionally busy time at the Cereals Event in Lincolnshire with two crews working in the fantastic sunny weather. Thank goodness it was a little cooler as the app on my iphone told me I had walked over 7 miles during the first day. As the availability of rooms within 20 miles of the event was limited we ended up camping.
